Training

New monday night summertime training see here: Note: while this is running under 14 beginners should enrol here or contact Robin, and not come on Thursdays nights which is for the experienced or adult beginners only.

The club has a wealth of experience and can offer you advice on your stroke, craft, racing, exercises etc. Club nights are Thursday evenings, for a 7pm start, just come along and give it a go. New paddlers are always welcome and we have loan boats.

Members can often be found paddling or using the gym at other times throughout the week.

Please note the Locations page has the club Distances chart on it. Plus for you hardy winter paddlers here's the current moon phase, so you know how much light there'll be if training tonight!

Robin is a trainee Level 3 BCU coach and will try and assist with free training at club sessions. These will be expanded if there's demand in the summer months.

We have a wide range of kayaks and canoes so it's a great place for beginners, young or old. Plus paddles and buoyancy aids. These are free for members to borrow.
